If you are about to purchase a home here in Willow Lawn and are not from the area, maybe this list of contact information for utilities might be helpful.
 
Electric:  Shenandoah Valley Electric Coop:  Start/Stop Service – Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative (svec.coop) or

Gas:  Washington Gas  Start and Stop Service - Washington Gas  or 844-927-4427
 
Water:  City of Winchester Utilities  My Bill - City of Winchester, VA (winchesterva.gov) or 540-773-1358 
   Your water bill also has trash and recycle pick up and storm water fee (see recycle info and trash pickup holiday schedule, below)  Trash and Recycle are picked up every Thursday.  Please have your trash can and recycle bins put away by Thursday night.  Yard waste is picked up on Fridays from mid-March through Mid-January.
 
Cable/telephone:  the 2 major services that people use are Glo-Fiber and Comcast/Xfinity.  Most who have changed to Glo-Fiber prefer the service and cost
    Comcast/Xfinity:   Internet, TV, Phone, Smart Home and Security - Xfinity by Comcast or 800-934-6489

Friday, January 16, 2026 - Yard waste collection will resume on Friday, March 13. 

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Monday, January 19, 2026 - No trash or recycling service on this day. Monday-Thursday service will be delayed by one day. Yard waste is canceled.

President's Day
Monday, February 16, 2026 - No trash or recycling service on this day. Monday-Thursday service will be delayed by one day. Yard waste is canceled.

Memorial Day
